The Suffolk County Department of Health Services is an engaged member of the Long Island Health Collaborative, assisting members of our community and keeping them informed about matters related to their health. From the SCDOH website;

The Suffolk County Department of Health Services offers a wide range of programs and services to the residents of Suffolk County. Staff in the department’s nine divisions includes health-care professionals, engineers, educators, entomologists, forensic examiners, sanitarians and more. Supporting these professionals are computer professionals and administrative staff who keep the department running smoothly every day.
